Hello! My name is John Dante Mingione but you can call me Dante. I teach swim lessons to kids and sometimes even adults. My job is to make swimming as fun as possible so the kids not only love to be in the water, they'll be safe while doing so. I live in a complex in South Side San Jose that has a swimming pool we can use but most of the time parents prefer to use their own. I'll work out a structured schedule for you and your little one and in no time you'll be watching your kids improve right in front of your eyes. So in summary: 
- My mission is to make swimming fun and safe for your children
- You can use my pool or I can come to you (it's your choice!)
- Structured schedules that are flexible around YOUR time (**Currently Thursdays and Fridays only**)

Now, why should you choose me to teach your kid?
I've been swimming for fifteen years competitively and five years in private teaching. During my time in swimming, I became accustomed to leading different age groups from 6 to 12. My swim team had a "buddy" system in which a younger student teams up with an older master. Since then, I've trained kids of all ages 1+ on proper technique but all while making it FUN. That's the most important part. LEARNING is FUN and I strive to embody that constantly. I am CPR Certified for Infants, Toddlers, and Adults and have lifeguarded at my pool. Upon request, I can give you references to people I've taught as well as my swim coach who I personally worked with that can verify my skills as a teacher. It's not just enough to know the subject, you have to communicate your skills effectively in order pass it along to another.
